Robbo hat sich in einem bekannten englischsprachigen Forum angemeldet und einen Beitrag zu seiner momentanen Sponsoring-Situation geschrieben.
Es sieht so aus, dass er zumindest für ein halbes Jahr nun mit Sells Handschuhen spielt, diese wurden extra für ihn designt und erscheinen etwa im Dezember zum Kauf.
An Schuhen trägt er Adidas Predator, weil er damit wohl am Besten zurecht kommt.
Beide Produkte sind nich an Verträge gebunden!!!

Good evening fellow goalkeepers and glove enthusiasts!

My name is Paul Robinson and i play in goal for Blackburn Rovers and the odd occasion England! I hope you dont mind me joining your site, but having recieved a very nice letter from"Dan Gedrrych", one of your members, i have been made aware of it and followed with interest the stir that my choice of gloves has caused! Thanks for the letter Dan.

Firstly may i apologise to you all for causing so much much confusion as to my preferred glove choice. As you all probably know by now my 4 year deal with Nike came to an end at the close of last season 07/08. So far this season i havent been touting any kind of sponsorship deal, merely trying different products that are on the market today.

At the weekend against Arsenal i wore a new Sells glove which was made for me. Its a new roll finger model, which is basically the Sells 'Contour' glove with a roll finger and the h20 ultimate latex palm. Its much more of a fitted glove leaving basically no excess latex on the back hand, where on many gloves its gathers and feels to big. The elasticated wrist band has also been tightened and slightly lengthened.

I am really pleased with the glove and this is going to be the gloves i will be wearing for the weeks to come, on a none contract basis. For me its very important to be 100 percent happy with the product you are wearing and at that the moment i have found that with this new Sells glove. The people at Sells have been fantastic and we have worked very closely to design this new glove.

I am almost sure that in the next couple of months this exact glove will be released on general sale so you can all see what i am going on about! Just to finish off, as far as boots are concerned i have been wearing Adidas which again i am very happy with and will continue to do so on a non contract basis.
